I wanted to stop by the time I was on th page but carried on just to observe how irritating this book might go. The latter one deals with Gangasagar Mishra, a Chanakya-like character, b plays ki Chanakya’s Chant is not one but two similarly-themed novels, spanning across two different timelines, combined into one thrilling roller-coaster ride that you are bound to enjoy throughout.

Further, there are too many sub-plots and small incidents that keep getting narrated, making the plot very confusing and complex. Besides being a businessman, Ashwin manages a parallel career as writer of fiction. An intriguing read it was. Narrating two parallel stories side by side – that of Chanakya and the other of a modern day political strategist and his protege, the book ends up appearing as a school boy attempt at historical fiction.
Focus on the bigger purpose and the rest of your manifesto will follow as a matter of course. It might seem at the outset that Sanghi is developing into a desi Dan Brown, given his penchant for history.

Being convincingly near and balancing the logical and theistic aspects Ashwin Sanghi has written a masterpiece. Ashwin sanghi leaves no stones unturned while scripting the story of Pt. While I like the overall idea and concept behind this novel, the treatment, narrative and the language are a big let down when judged in the context of the high expectations set for this novel from an author who clearly is vastly gifted and different from the ordinary.
